Back from holiday......not sure why

Nothing changes in the world of politics...or indeed finance. So a full desk of people's ego trips to deal with....along with stuffy atmosphere and a required ability to sit still for most of the wakening hours.......

Must say that there is something invigourating about the British seaside, not the fluoresent rubbish but the sand, cliffs and the sea crumping itself against granite....and my wet suit....

So does that mean Christmas is my next holiday? I see that Harrods have opened up their Chrissy department some 3 weeks ago, I wonder if their fairies melted in the heat?

Jings....

And a kiss to all our readers..well maybe not...

Dancing round the Maypole

Different...but as its a damp grey August day in Londinium, seems a nice title.....actually I'm not sure if dancing round a pole is illegal in the world of Herr Prezza, yus, the man in charge of the whole country..except any of the bits that matter. Perma-tan Blair has jetted of to a sweaty beach in the Carribean...or how ever you spell it, clutching a mobile in case any of the world leaders should missdial and end up speaking to him...I don't know why he bothers, best thing he can do is lie back and relax. I doubt that more successful PM's than Blair (not difficult) would have just said, bugger the world and get on with their holiday...which usually consisted of trying to blast a whole generation of assorted bird life out of the skys.

Anyway, back to the Maypole and its potentially illegal activity...I reckon, in the bowels of some drabby 1960's office in Hackney, there is a Gaultier policy unit staffed by latter-day Labour Puritans who's whole purpose is to progressively squeeze any freedom/individuallity/sense of enjoyment out of the population and replace individual judgement by State pronouncement...sad...and a bit sadder still that Dave and assorted chums are slow in mumbling about redressing the balance...I guess he is to scared of being controversial and upsetting the natives as he grows progressively mute....

Well there you are, some ramblings before 8 in the morning..I haven't a clue if any one reads this drivel...if you do, leave a mark on the pavement...or if you are a dog, please pee on this lampost ...

Sleep.....its all I need....

One of the drawbacks of working in investment stuff is the lack of sleep...or the lack of any form of social life...as the song said, 'you can't have one without the other'...actually you can have either but not both....The 5.00 am rise..to shave in the dark, fumble for knickers...and clunk ones toes is an aquired taste.....Moments like these that I wish I followed some other path...probably would have lost my compass doing that as well, lol...
Anyway, the end is in sight, its FRIDAY folks...so tomorrow I can try to stay asleep till 7...

This blog really is a pile of poo but I just can't get my damaged brain in first gear...may be I should come back later...

Regards sweet people... :O)

Jings politics.......

Well, its now in full technicolour, well a sort of sludgy maroon, the sort of thing that you dont want your dining room curtains to look like but end up with anyway.
Decided to make several political starements today. I though I would be daring and say Bollocks to Blair....there done that, now all I need is the heavy men in blue to pound at my virtual door and bleat about offending the world at large and Mr Al Quazida in particular. Its an amazing inditement of this Government how quickly they have eroded personal liberty, all in the name of defeating terrorism, ironically something that they have created the conditions for, almost without thinking.......
So with a sight, I guess I will have to go and do some work, oiling the wheels of industry and drinking hairy coffee........
